Tamp the gravel or sand so it is compacted

Place a layer of silt fabric on top of the gravel
-
Fill the planter with approximately 8 inches of mixed topsoil, it should be light so it can drain here is a good top soil recipe: 1/3 sand, 1/3 topsoil, 1/6 compost, 1/6 peat moss

Plant, spread ground cover, water thoroughly
Indoors:

Simply drill holes in the panels using a carbide drill bit and secure the benches using the hardware provided.
